I'm exploring the textures and folds of the countryside in my work at the moment as I attempt to capture the beauty of the fens and the coast.

I enjoy the immediacy of this medium and its ability to reflect light and shade.

I enjoy making marks on paper with the sizzling colours of Unison pastels. The subltle layering and strong contrasts seem to bring the fen landscapes to life.

The medium of collage enables me to take the abstraction of shapes textures further.
